Hello, my name is Jo Jo, I am a happy little bird who likes to do my own thing. I am not noisy although I can whistle. I can talk but do not do it often. I say the occasional thing, but my safehouse mum cannot quite make out what I say.
I would like a home that is not too busy. I like to come out of my cage when I like. I need to be able to fly as I have a deformed foot and have difficulty walking. I can get around my cage OK and spend a lot of time upside down hanging on by the tips of my nails. I can also walk on the top of my cage where I like to spend my time chewing on the cardboard boxes my safehouse mum puts there for me.
I like to be allowed to fly to the top of a door or cupboard where I will spend most of the day chewing my boxes or some wooden toys. I will fly back to my cage when I want to. If I do not quite make it and land on the floor my safehouse mum will pick me up by placing her hands over my back and wings. As you can tell I am an easy-going bird who just needs some loving and a little bit of attention.
