Description

‘Hello everybody, I’m Tony! I am a gorgeous wee Indian Ringneck around two and a half years old. I am a sweet, curious, and clever girl looking for my forever home.

When I first came to my new safehouse I was quite skittish and a bit scared of hands but my safehouse mum says you wouldn’t think I was the same bird! I am a proper cuddle bug; I like to fly to my safehouse mum’s chest and preen her while she strokes my head. I will even step up sometimes now. I also love flying around the house, and I have a great view from up on the lightshade to assess where I would next like to put my beak for a nosey!

I love grapes and walnuts and the way to my heart is definitely through my stomach! I like to be around my safehouse family as much as possible, Fortunately they work from home so I get to spend plenty of time out of my cage in company and I think I would get very lonely if I was home alone a lot.

I have never had any furry four-legged pals, but I have lived with other birds and I’m not too keen on them. If my safehouse brother, Max gets too close I will dive bomb him – well someone has to stop him trying to steal my dinner! I don’t mind men or women, but I would prefer not to live with younger children – I’ve heard they can get a bit rowdy, and I like a calm home.

I really am a lovely wee girl, If you can give me the time and space to get to know you slowly and gently, I will be your best friend. Please apply if you have room in your heart for a birdy who has lots of love to give.
